Scrum in Practice, the next step - CSM - Jeff Sutherland

Kurset gir Scrum Master Certification.

This two–day course provides deep insight into the principles of Scrum by the Co–Creator of Scrum. It allows participants to assess their Scrum implementations using the practices that produce the best Scrum teams worldwide. While the Certified Scrum Master course provides the basics for starting up Scrum teams, Scrum in Practice will focus on improving Scrum implementations already in practice. This course gives the attendees a Scrum Master Certification.

Participants are expected to bring their experience with Scrum to the class to share with others. By looking at individual implementations of Scrum, their problems and their successes, everyone can learn how to take their Scrum implementations to the next level.

The course gives participants hands–on experience using the Scrum process to build a project backlog for the course simulating product planning with multiple teams.  Participants will form their own teams, select their own Product Owner, and select their Scrum Masters. The Product Owner will work with the teams to identify stories that the teams want to learn about. "How can I distribute Scrum offshore and get the same benefits as running Scrum locally." "What are best management practices in a Scrum company." "How do I get my team to improve their velocity." The questions are endless. When the teams complete the backlog of their most important stories, the Product Owner will work with teams to prioritize the stories into a Product Backlog. Exercises and presentations in the class will focus on burning down the Product Backlog.

For those in the course not yet certified, the course will provide them Certified ScrumMaster status and a one year membership in the Scrum Alliance. This course is ideal for those practicing Scrum who are not yet certified and would like Certified ScrumMaster status, yet want to attend an advanced course to work with others already practicing Scrum.
